Acadia

  • 30,286 miles
Check engine light / stabilitrak warning light leading to discovery the engine cylinder head and valves were damaged and needed to be replaced. Total repair took 33 days. Apparently this is an ongoing problem with this GM engine. Numerous internet sites state improperly manufactured camshaft components are the possible cause. My camshafts were not replaced, but I do suspect they were probably the cause based on present information available to me.
