Acadia SLT

  • Automatic transmission
  • 140,000 miles

Driving down the road my car just quit, I have both my kids in the car with me. The check engine light comes on and it says service stabilizer track and traction control off, I just had a timing chain put into this piece of junk a few weeks ago for this same code, the GMC dealer, Graham Auto service, said that it is not warranty because it is not the timing, it is the throttle body now. I took this vehicle in so they could solve this issue weeks ago and they say timing and now I am out MORE money on this piece of junk.

I will NEVER buy another GMC in my life!!!! They don't stand behind their vehicles, get online and you will see others with this same issue but GMC says "it is not an issue, we can't help you" BIG FAT LIER's

GM designs their system to tell customers how much oil life is left. This is to be based on their driving conditions. The OOC is extending the duration of an oil change from 3000 or 7000 to 10,000+. The Lambda engines are not BMW or Mercedes quality and cannot go that far between oil changes. I have cylinder 1 fouled now with oil as seals are going bad and the timing chain has been stretched.
