Acadia Denali 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 12,500 miles

GMC Acadia Denali 2017 with Electronic Problems. A recurring issue which causes electronics and rear brake lights to stay on after you turn the vehicle off and get out. If you didn't realize it in time, the light and electrical issue would drain and kill your battery leaving you stranded.

some of the rear lights will not turn off

After shutting off the engine 3 of the rear lights remain on. Very hard to see during the day. When first noticed problem, the lights were on for a number of hours and completely drained the battery. The only way I've found to be able to turn the lights off is restart the engine, turn the lights on manually and then off again. Sometimes I have to do this several times to get the lights to turn off.
