ABS Brakes still having problems but not as bad. This should've been recalled.

problem #2

Jul 012012

Envoy SLT 4.2L 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,000 miles

When I first slow down and press on the brakes, the brakes work very well but as my speed decreases to about 5 to 10 miles an hour the brakes begin to shake like as if the ABS is on but the road is clean and there is no need for it to be on. There is also no light on saying the ABS is active. I took the GMC to two mechanics and one of them said it was the front brakes and I changed them and the rotters but that did not fix the problem. They do not know what to do and i am stuck.
