Envoy

  • 60,000 miles
The contact owns a 2003 GMC Envoy. The contact stated while driving at unknown speeds, the driver and passenger doors independently flew open. The contact was holding onto the door while driving until she was able to bring the vehicle to a stop. The dealer advised having a diagnostic performed on the vehicle to determine the cause of failure. In addition, when filling the fuel tank, the gasoline would spew back out of the filler tune and onto the contact. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 60,000 and the current mileage was 180,000.

Wind noise coming from around the drivers door, has been into the service shop on 2 occasions and this is as good as it gets according to the dealer, I am not satisfied with the results a new vehicle should not have noise like this please investigate. GM should come out with an over size seal or better adjustments on their doors.
