Envoy SLE 4.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 122,000 miles

This seems to be a common problem. Part itself is expensive. Should be a recall.

Envoy SLT 4.2L I-6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 31,000 miles

What a poorly made vehicle! I will randomly hear clicking/knocking noises from my engine and thought the engine was bad! Soon after that the "service engine soon" lit up! As I was driving it to the dealer the fan clutch broke off damaging other parts and disabling the vehicle. 4years later the clutch goes out again, and now just stays running! Do not buy this junk!

Envoy XL 4.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 124,000 miles

The fan began to run at all times sounding like I was about to take flight. Loud and very annoying, causes the service engine light to come on. It also causes the truck to run too cool. Replaced the fan clutches and it fixed the problem temporaily. I have replaced the clutches 3 times along with the water pump and it is roaring again! I need help finding the real solution to the problem
