The contact owns a 2004 GMC Envoy. While driving 55 mph, the driver heard a loud noise in the front of the vehicle. The gear shifts from normal to 4 wheel drive. The dealer informed the contact that the front differential was cracked and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was diagnosed for a second opinion and the mechanic agreed with the previous failure including that there was no oil in the differential. The contact stated that she has filed a complaint## 71-492693494 with the manufacturer. The contact can provide photos if needed. The dealer advised the contact the vehicle can be repaired for a fee.
