problem #1

Envoy V6

My vehicle's headlights began to dim then come back to life. This included my interior dash lights, the voltage meter would go down and it sounded like my vehicle was going to stall for a quick second.

Took it to my mechanic several times and he couldn't find anything. He changed out the battery and cables, but that seem to have been a temporary fix. That only helped for several months.

Update from Jul 7, 2014: If you want my VIN then contact me for the information. I don't feel I should give this type of information out, unless you are serious about looking into my problem.

Lights are dimming again and vehicles act as if it's going to stall. It will do it while I'm accelerating, sitting at a stop light, day, night, anytime. No warning.

Mechanic is unsure what the problem is and we can't easily replicate it. He doesn't want to change out the alternator if it's not going to fix the problem.

Update from Jul 7, 2014: On July 6, 2014 while sitting at a traffic light, the lights on the panel went dim, temp control went down a panel warning light flickered and car stalled. All other gauges seem to have stayed normal, as if the car was running.

What the hell is GM doing with taking advantage of people's lives and not caring about the cars they put on the road. These rich, uncaring executives, need to have their pay halted and fix all of these safety issues! I'm not sure what vehicle to buy next because of all the recalls popping up!
