No injuries, or crashes. Door handle on van pulling away from vehicle. Poor quality for handles. Made of all plastic. Couldn't open passenger door because plastic parts had broken inside the door. This van is not abused in any way, as my 98 lb. Wife is the one using that door everyday and doesn't slam the door, or tug on handles. Part was replaced by dealer. My concern is when will the rest of the handles break, or fall off?

Our vehicle caught on fire with my wife and three small children inside. We had the child sefety locks engaged and quickly realized that if my wife had gone to the rear of the van from the inside (via between the seats) to retrieve the children the results would have been deadly since she would not have been able to open the door from the inside while the child safety lock was engaged. Although they were installed with good intentions we have learned they are unsafe during a fire and will never engage them again.
