The contact owns a 2005 GMC Sierra. During brake application between 10-12 mph the ABS activated without warrant. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection. The driver-side wheel speed sensor was cleaned, because of corrosion. The technician speculated that the driver side wheel speed sensor would require replacement in the future. After the repair the failure resurfaced. The vehicle was in the process of being repaired for the malfunction. The failure mileage was 43,433. The current mileage was 43,453.
