I have heard lots of people with the same problem but no one with a solution to the problem. If everyone with this problem complains just maybe GM will do a recall but I guess since no one has gotten hurt they won't do a dang thing about it.

Really sucks just bought the truck and love it otherwise. Not the only one I know having this problem though. A few people have had this problem since their truck was brand new. Needs to be recalled.

I have met others with the same problem of the fuel gauge going to empty and back to the right amount of gas. I know this is a problem with Chevrolet trucks and believe this to be a factory defect. My brother had a 2003 Silverado and was sent a notice for his year and make for this problem. I have a 2001 GMC Sierra and was not sent a repair notice.
