problem #1

Aug 302009

Sierra 1500 5.3L Flex Fuel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 500 miles

Tranny started shifting rough with about 500 miles. I bought the truck brand new. The dealership first said they found sediment in the tranny oil. They drained, then replace oil, and told me it was fixed. I got it back and still shifting rough. They got it back the second time, drained oil, and replaced shift solenoid and said it was fixed, and of course it was not. They got it back the third time, and now they are telling me it is characteristics of the tranny. That is the biggest pile of sh*t i have ever heard. The truck now has 28,000 miles and has been in the shop 10 TIMES. This is ridiculous. 3 times for tranny, 3 times for power window not working sometimes, 3 times to fix the leaf springs that were squeaking very loud(finally replaced the springs and fixed that problem), 1 time because radio would not eject CD's without hitting the dash with my fist, they replaced passenger door lock that quit, 2 times to try to fix the idling, which is very jumpy at idle(still not fixed, they say its normal)Bullshit!!!!!!! And now the from end is squeaking very loudly. This is the biggest p.o.s I have ever owned. The plastic on the inside of truck squeaks and rattles worse than the inside of my 1987 sierra classic.
