Traveling on a highway about 50mph a car turned left in front of us. We T-boned the car. The passenger air bag failed to deploy. The driver air bag shot off to the left. This was a 2010 Terrain.

My new 2010 gma Terrain will randomly display passenger seat belt is off while there is an adult passenger (+150 pounds) sitting there. In addition sometimes it has also caused an error code to appear and sometimes does not produce an error code. Additionally I have also received warnings on my dashboard that seat belts are not on and airbag errors. My dealership acknowledged that the airbag warning meant the airbags might not deploy in a crash and provided no fix, just a reset. This has occurred several times and I have to move my passenger to the back seat when this error occurs. I have also had the sensor replaced in my passenger seat with no change in what is happening. I have been told that the only notice they have about the passenger seat is that electronic devices can cause the airbag to be activated when no one is seating there. However that was not my complaint. Since my airbag problem started happening I have now also had the passenger light (and sounds) start randomly while I've been driving with no passenger present. My dealership told me I couldn't have any electronic device in the car on to fix that error. But I was told there is nothing they will do about my airbags at random times not working. Additionally I felt that having to turn off my electronic devices while driving is not fair, especially if I have passengers who want to use them. I have been terrified to drive with passengers present and have come close to being in accidents when my car randomly produces sounds for seat buckles (starting even after driving for 20 minutes and it doesn't stop). This has been recorded four times or so at the dealer but had happened at least a dozen times, even after I finally feel that it wasn't going to happen again. I have been told there is nothing to fix, even when my dealer sees the error codes.
