Terrain

I have had to get my exhaust repaired 3 times in the last year and now this. It sounds like a semi and rattles. I am shocked there are no recalls or warranty's on it as it seems to be a popular complaint on multiple sites.

I think this is a bunch of bs, having to have the exhaust manifold fixed again. I will be contacting Dorman, and GMC, maybe if they get enough complaints, they'll step up and find a solution.

Terrain SLE 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 106,925 miles

I have a 2011 GMC Terrain at 105,925 miles. I had to replace the exhaust manifold because it was cracked. I took it to a licensed Mechanic shop to have the work done and here I go again, fixing to have to replace it again at 179,000. The crack is in the same place, seems like to me it's defected material they use to make them. So I started doing a little research and what I found out, it's a common problem with the GMC Terrains. So now GMC needs to step up and find a solution to fix this mess.

I was told this was a common problem, however, there was no recall and not covered by warranty.
