problem #2

Apr 012019

Terrain SE 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 58,000 miles

The car would stall when I came to a stop. I would have to restart the engine with the foot on the gas pedal to move. I did not know until recently that this was a common problem.

I did not take it to a GM dealer as I was told it was $100 just to hook up and diagnose. I took it to a local mechanic who said it was some sort if sensor and solenoid issue. After owning for 6 months, I'd already put $700 into repairs. The car had less than 60000 miles

Terrain SEE 4c

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,000 miles

We were going on vacation. We were about 250 miles from home. Engine light came on, then car would stall every time we had to stop or start. Almost got hit because stalled in intersection. This car has been in the dealership for brake, engine problems, solenoid 2 replacements.

Now there is a thumping noises up by the engine. Have spent hundreds of dollars on these repairs even with what the dealer warranty covered. Just in the last month. It is a never ending story with all these things happening in the last few months. I am reading the same problems that others have left here. GMC you are reading the same problems again. You know this why are you not putting out a recall on them. This is how companies lose customers.
