While checking the air pressure for the tires of a new purchased vehicle consumer noticed the pressure was 44 pounds. The standard air pressure should be 32 pounds in the door panel. Also, Firestone recommended 32 pounds. GM suggested that a 17 inch tire would be a tight fit in the spare cavity, which were he size on the consumer's vehicle. The consumer stated that he has driven the vehicle with an off sized tire and it was hard to handle. (Bridgestone dueler ht)
