The issue is I can remove the ignition key without the shift lever being in "park" on my 2000 Honda Accord, VIN [xxx]. there is a current recall, but the dealer states it does not apply to my vehicle. It should be added to the recall. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Accord

The window regulators and power door locks on the Honda's I own keep failing and cost more than 300 dollars to repair. This seems to be a systemic problem on the Honda's. I have had this happen on all 4 doors of my 2000 Honda Accord and 2 doors on my 2004 Honda Pilot. Honda needs to do a recall and fix this issue. People shouldn't have to pay for a systemic issue in the car, which can be a safety issue as well as you can't put the windows down or up once this happens.
