Accord EX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 78,655 miles

I am a single woman. About a month ago my car started bucking. I had just paid $700. to have my car inspected, new tires, blah, blah, blah., so I was surprised to see the drive light blinking and the check maintenance car blinking as well. After two weeks I asked a friend who is a mechanic for the FBI to drive the car. He said surprisingly it was leaking transmission fluid. The car ran okay for about 2 1/2 weeks then it would not go into reverse. I called him immediately and he suggested taking it to a reputable transmission place that he has used. I was not close to home or to the transmission place he suggested, so I was very nervous driving this car that was bucking and I knew I couldn't put in reverse. Very scary situation! I am the only owner of this expensive car and I have taken care and had all scheduled maintenance. Everyone always said "buy a honda" I am very disappointed and will not buy another honda. In fact, I am telling people about this problem and finding out about other people's problems as well
