Trunk lid falls down if not held. When raising lid, must push all the way open and hold in order to make certain lid does not fall. (trunk springs appear too weak). Reported matter to victory Honda service - Plymouth. Advised that rods were working properly. Would have to special order trunk springs if needed. Vehicle now out of warranty. Examined several models on dealer lot. Some have similar problem, some even worse. Lid had struck writer and daughter in the head on several occasions. Writer concerned about injury from lid slamming down.
