I was driving down through someones yard and its like my vehicle made a grinding sound and a malfunction light illuminated an exclamation point in a triangle. I almost got stuck and I was horrified at the sound. Later on I started noticing it was harder to control thw vehicle at higher speeds on the road. Especially after it rained I would leave my yard and would almost be trapped in my yard. Very eerie grinding sound with 3 malfunction lights on: ABS, traction control, and brake lamp illuminated.

When I first purchased my Honda, it was brought back to the dealer several times for a "shaking" at certain speeds. This was dismissed over and over and blamed on tire air pressure and alignment. I knew this could not be the cause and found other Honda drivers complaining about the same issue. Recently, the passenger side tire came disengaged while driving the vehicle causing the car to crash down on the rotor. The vehicle was at a dealership recently for a repair, I believe this issue has been over looked by Honda and could have caused severe injury to myself or other drivers. It appears the shaking directly caused this issue with the vehicle.

Owner:I hit a dip with this Accord 3.0 with vtec engine was driving down street when car made funny noise and the steering got hard to turn. Pulled over and found power steering was leaking. Drove it to shop ordered hose then dropped hose with fluid at repair shop. Technician: Power steering hose broke hard and old leaking fluid everywhere causing cerpintine belt come off. The hardened power steering hose broke due to fact that breaking of 2 passenger side motor mount to bracket bolts in bracket causing engine to raise during acceleration and pulling on hoses. Car drove in ok. After replacing bracket and hose noticed water leaking from behind timing belt and removed top cover. Found water pump leaking weep hole and found idler pulley and bolt came loose and fell off.(idler pulley has a special bolt with washer end that if dont wiggle the pully while tightening can tighten pulley tweaked and not complete also use loctite) also found the harmonic balancer bolt to be over torqued making it near impossible to remove without special octagon holding tool. Of course customer doesn't understand how so many things are wrong when all he saw was broken power steering hose.(which when fluid leaks can also catch car on fire) now we suggested replacement of water pump and timing kit but customer wants vehicle immediately and feels we created these other problems on purpose which left me no choice but to do labor for free just to prove im not! the lift of engine and fluid leak caused several bushings to come apart. He must have hit dip hard.

Honda Accord has been ignoring the crack in the lower compliance bushing which causes the oil to leak sets up large amount of repair cost. They have to recall to fix this bushing for unwanted repair.

Compliance bushings failed. The only car manufacturer that has a continuing problem with this is Honda. However they refuse to issue a recall notice on this.

I was traveling southbound I75 in third lane of traffic from right hand emergency strip. The front of the vehicle began to shake. At which point I heard a loud boom from the left front portion of the vehicle, as if the tire gave out. I made my way as close to the shoulder as I could. I saw that the left front tire was dismantled from the car and completely turned backwards. After having car towed to repair shop and fixed they gave me the lower ball joint which was broke in two pieces and said that it failed and caused all the damage.

1) the vehicle shakes at high speed. 2) the vehicle at slow speed sounds like the wheel bearings are grinding themselves down 3) the vehicle vibrates at slow and high speed but more so at high speed when pressing the brake peddle 4) the vehicle was brought to the dealership 3 times for these problems with the drive train and the brakes. Still after the third time of having new brakes and wheel bearing the vehicle continues to vibrate to such a manner as I feel it highly unsafe.

: the contact stated while driving various speeds and hitting bumps, the vehicle bounced. The dealer determined the vehicle performed as designed. Also, to defog the windshield the heater has to be on. The dealer indicated the defogger performed as designed. The contact further stated while driving various speeds in wet weather, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was maneuvered off the road and restarted. It was driven to the dealer who could not duplicate the problem.
