problem #1

Accord EX V6

  • Manual transmission
  • 91,800 miles

I bought the car used and it came with a lifetime power train warranty but no other coverage. One month after I bought it a whining noise started that cost me almost $800 to fix. I asked for some lee-way on the cost since I had not had the car but a little over a month but...nope.

There was a slight noise when the engine was cranked that was louder when driving and turning the steering wheel. I actually thought there might be a problem with the power steering pump (or uptake tube or O ring) but on the day that I was to take the car in the battery light started flashing. I made it to the dealership and the service guy said it's the alternator.

I hope that this is the last of the problems for awhile.
