Accord EX-L 4-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 34,880 miles

My car barely had 34,880 miles. After a short lunch, I go to turn it on but nothing happens. First reaction is to ask for a battery charge since everything powered down. It had to be charged for 20-30 minutes, barely enough juice to get my to auto store. I had to purchase a new battery. Turns out that the factory battery that came with my 2012 Honda Accord was only 410 Amps (which looked like a Civic battery), but it really needed a 640 Amps battery. Honda has dropped the ball on the quality and realiability of their name...I am dissapointed, as this is my 4th Honda!

Accord EX-L 4 cyl

  • Manual transmission
  • 37,119 miles

When my MAF sensor defaulted, it caused the battery to weaken to the point of having to be replaced. I normally buy & replace my own battery & don't have to pay the 'installation' fee charged by the dealer. I had NO forewarning the battery was weakening prior to the sensor default.

Just having too darn many issues with this car.
