The check engine and the ABS light both came on in my car. First the Valley Stream Honda told me it was the pistons that were misfiring. Both 2 and 3 so I had them replaced.. Three weeks later, both lights came on again this time they told me it was the Crank shaft sensor that was bad. I had that replaced. Now less than a week later and both lights are back on and they have no idea what the problem is. The ONLY good thing is that I only had to pay to replace the pistons. Everything else is under warranty. I bought my Honda for the reliability and even thought I've had it for 3 years it starting to be a real nuisance.

2012 HONDA ACCORD V6, AUTOMATIC. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, STAYED ON WITH DRIVE "D" LIGHT BLINKING. CAR HAS 55K MILES. HONDA MOTORS REFUSED TO HELP BECAUSE CAR WAS 3 MONTHS OVER 5YR WARRANTY MARK, EVEN THOUGH MILEAGE WAS BELOW 60K MARK. PAID ALL OUT OF MY POCKET. HONDA MOTORS SAYS I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM TO GIVE ME ANY GOODWILL ASSISTANCE. I AM DRIVING THIER CAR, ISNT THAT A RELATIONSHIP?

ON MY WAY OUT, THE DEALER WANTED TO SELL ME A $2,400.00 SERVICE CONTRACT. WHAT WOULD SOMEONE WITH A 100,000 MILE CAR BUY?

Engine would start up, then cough, sputter, & die IMMEDIATELY. 3 men in the parking lot tried helping me -- all with same result. As I was stranded, I had to have car towed to dealer; luckily covered under extended warranty, but had $100 deductible. Then they informed me that my 3 yr old battery registered extremely low & so ended up having to buy a new battery, too FROM THE DEALER, which I know cost more than the local Auto Zone (who installs for free)! I am, once again, SO disappointed in Honda. 37000 miles & this is my

FOURTH trip to the dealer for an unreliable car, This is my 2nd Accord AND MY LAST!

engine light came on

As I'm reading these complaints, I'm feeling as if I got 'had,' so to speak. Most of us know that Honda's are well-known for their reliability and top-notch vehicles. This is the reason I purchased my 2012 4-door V6 in November of 2012. Now I have about 23,900 miles on it and just yesterday, the engine light came on. The engine felt like it wanted to stall and I pulled over to check the engine. I didn't see anything wrong so I drove home. Today, I set up an appointment to have the dealer look at it.

I've had the exact same symptoms that folks here have had and I feel upset right now. I put my hard earned money on this car (I'm in law enforcement and the military) and I'm still holding out hope on hope that my car will last me a long time. I had a 2006 Chevy Impala for 7 years previously and I took great care of that car. I bought the Honda because I figured if I take care of it the way I took care of my Chevy, I would have the Honda for 20 years at least. I'm praying that this is still the case.

I'll inform you when I come from the dealership tomorrow, but judging these comments, I'll be at least $150-$200 lighter.... >:-|
