I have driven manual transmission cars equipped with cruise controls for well over 55 YEARS. I have even put in aftermarket accessory cruise systems. All would disengage when the clutch pedal was depressed for slowing the car though downshifting. Not this Accord. I could be traveling at 100 k and go all the way down from 6th gear to 2nd and the car would still be in cruise control, revving @ 7000RPM!
Highly unsafe. Even the latest MT models still feature this madness. I really don't understand how these manufacturers get away with these safety issues. A pox on Transport Canada.
