After parking the car, I pushed the power button to turnoff the engine, the engine turned off, however the dash stayed on and the "Power On" was displayed. I could not get the power to turnoff, it is if the car thought the engine was running, though the tach indicated the engine was off. I repeatedly pressed the power button and it would cycle between Accessory Power and Power On, but OFF was never happening. AFter starting the engine and pulling forward a bit, and trying again a few times, I got the power to go off.

When I got home that night, it happened again, but this time in the garage. I took time off work and took the car to the local Honda dealer (waited more than 20 minutes before being spoken to) and left the car. Of course, I could not replicate the problem when dropping off the car.

I don't use that vehicle often (less than 11,000 miles on it) and to have something like that happen was very bothersome, and then to be basically ignored at the dealer left even a further bitter taste in my mouth. Too early to tell if they can fix the problem, or if they will say they can't find anything wrong. I"m giving them 2 days to do whatever it takes to fix it.
