Accord Touring 2.0t

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,160 miles

Started hearing a rattle coming from the B pillar of my new 2.0T touring accord and took it to the dealership. I originally thought it was something with the seat belt mechanism.. The dealership called me to tell me that they had removed the panel and thought the rattle was coming from the actual B pillar. I dropped it off on a Wed a.m. They said that they were sending it to a body shop in town to further investigate but that they would have it back later that week. It has now been almost a month since I last drove my car..sad to say. They have had to completely replace the B pillar. This is major structural repairs!! on a brand new vehicle. What will this do to my resale value...? how do I know that the repairs will be done correctly? I have to small kids, now I am worried that the structural integrity of this vehicle is compromised. Anyone have a similar issue? advise? my brand new car has been ripped apart, cut, and hope to god that it gets put back in order.. So disappointed in Honda. Top of the line model. 2K miles on it with major structural repairs..
