Dec 272018

Accord EX 1.5L Turbo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 27,000 miles

I have never had to replace REAR pads and rotors at 27,000 miles. I believe there must be design flaw. Or defective part (caliper?). I am 64 years old and drive very conservatively: no excessive speed and no need to brake hard. What is wrong with this braking system?? Before having this repaired, I will have a conversation with the head of the service department and owner of the Honda dealership.

Accord Sport 2.0t

  • Automatic transmission
  • 27,962 miles

A vehicle purchased on Oct 2018 had the rear brakes wear out at 40k. This is defective material from manufacturing. I've never seen this happen on the previous other make of these vehicles. (Jul 25, 2020)

Radio shut down by itself and is active again. During the vehicle service, I asked the dealer to look into that, but never got an answer.
