Accord

The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving approximately 5 MPH, there was an abnormal grinding sound coming from the rear-end of the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to a certified mechanic who diagnosed that the electronic brake actuator was fully engaged causing the metal to rub together. The contact stated that the driver-€™s side rear no longer had functioning brakes. The contact was informed that the electronic brake actuator and brake caliper needed to be replaced. The dealer was contacted; however, the contact was unable to speak with a representative. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 38,000.
