problem #3

Jun 292001

CR-V 4WD

  • miles
The spare tire included with the new vehicle was mounted and used on approximately 6/20/01. On 6/29/01 the tire tread became separated from the rest of the tire while the vehicle was in motion. The tread separation caused vehicle body damage. Tire was submitted to manufacturer for adjustment. A paralegal for the manufacturer stated 'sorry' and declared that an 'impact break' was responsible for tread separation and I was denied compensation for the tire replacement and vehicle damage. Additional info and photo's are available. (dot number: Emytcaf207 tiresize: P205/70R15)
