CR-V Sport 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 118,084 miles

Remote central locking ceased opening the doors. I had the car checked out thoroughly at the Honda Dealer and two Auto Electricians also checked it out - about $250 wasted because it turned out that the fault can only be remedied by the removal of the unit (from under the dashboard) and a check of the power supply etc. The Auto Electrician believed the unit would need replacement and the all up cost would be in excess of $1000.00. The central locking still works.
