CR-V Sport 2.4L

I've read that there was a recall for similar problems with the cable rusting. Unfortunately that was in 2003 and I didn't own the car then! I'm about to drive to my Honda dealer in Whangarei and see what light they can throw on it. To me, it just adds up to a cost I don't need just as I'm planning to on-sell it.
