I was slowly approaching the store front to the establishment that I was going to enter. I braked and the automobile began to accelerate and would not stop until the it climbed the curb and drove into the stores front door. This caused quite a bit of damage to the store and I was injured and transported to the hospital. I was examined and test and X-rays were taken indicating that I had fractured my sternum. The air bags never deployed...updated 11/07/12
