The vehicle was repaired. The contact also stated that the rear passenger's side door failed to lock with the remote as well as manually. The failure occurred without warning. The vehicle was taken to the same dealer where it was diagnosed that the latch assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted at 800-999-1009 and was made aware of the failure. The manufacturer stated that the parts were out of warranty and a case number 06250936 was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 104,607.
