CR-V EX 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

I have a 2010 Honda CRV EX, bought brand new. In mid 2016 we noticed the paint beginning to fade/haze on the roof & hood. We were told unless it is peeling they can't do anything. Now it is 04/2017 & the paint looks like crap, all faded & hazy in those areas, but still not peeling. I'm guessing that will come very soon, but then it will be past the 7 yr. warranty point. I also own a Honda Accord, that paint went to crap as well, even tough I wax the vehicles on a regular basis.

Honda paint jobs suck.

Purchased this 2010 CRV in 2012, Noticed small pain peeling areas the following year, brought it in, and was told they could touch it up. However, now 2016, the peeling is significant, gets worse! Keep getting runaround from the Honda dealer in town, and original dealer. Had the car coated with the Trident Sealant when we bought it, and they too, would not repair it, said it was clearly a manufacturing issue. The more research I do, the more paint problems and complaints I've come across. Will NOT be purchasing a Honda again.

CR-V EX 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 300 miles

I bought the 2010 Honda CRV and about a month later both pumpers started to peel off, first dealer tried to ignore the problem and gave me a bottle of touch up paint, I called Honda and they did not care, finally another dealer took care of it without charge. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. DO NOT BUY CRV, Honda in general is dropping the quality badly. I am in the process of trading my car to buy a Toyota Highlander.

CR-V LX

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

I bought CR-V new from Honda dealer in Dec. 2009, noticed last week paint is peeling off front bumper. Brought it in to have it checked and they said looks like someone repainted the bumper at some time. I bought this car NEW off this same dealers lot and it has not been worked on or damaged since I bought it.

This is my third Honda and it will be my last. Honda quality has fallen off a cliff in the years I dealt with them.
