CR-V Touring 2.0L

The engine vibrates the entire car when the transmission is in drive while stopped. It mostly goes away if the vehicle is put in neutral. Several trips to the dealership has not resolved the issue. The dealership said that Honda does not know why it is doing this.

CR-V EX-L 2.4L

Had the same vibration back in 2016 and it was fixed with new transmission mounts, radiator mounts, etc. The vibration could be felt through the driver seat when at a stop with the car in drive. Shift in to neutral and the vibration is gone, place in drive and it is back.

Now two years later and almost at the end of warranty, the vibration is back. Since the kit had already been installed, the techs were looking for other root causes. They cleaned the throttle body and re-programed the computer to no avail. After I got home I called the service advisor to let them know the problem was still there and could they ask the techs if it is possible that the parts from the original 2016 fix might have failed. They would get back to me early next week.

CR-V EX-L 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 43,000 miles

Hello all- taking their precious time to read about my horrible luck buying a new / used 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4L .. I was so happy after purchasing this SUV until all of a sudden the car started shaking so bad I thought there was an earthquake happening outside or something.. I am very frustrated about this, today is my second day owning this car and I shouldn't have to be here writing about how doomed I feel owning this Honda.. I will continue looking for solutions by calling Honda because this needs to be known as a recall and not a regular so called optional upgrade that Honda claimed on the videos and posts I've been researching.

I am very frustrated .. I will continue trying to take this as far as I can to demand justice for something so unjust.

If anyone reading this is willing to help me in any way or is going through the same problem and has any helpful suggestions, please contact me as I will be very very grateful.

Thanks for reading.

I bought a CRV 2015 at the end of the 2015 year and I start feeling a lightly vibration. I took the car to the dealer and they said they didn't feel anything on the car. The problem had been increased and they told me that I had to pay for inspection and if it was a car defect, then they will refund the money and fix it free. They mentioned they didn't hear any complaints about it, so most likely I will have to paid for repair if it needs it. At this point it is a complete annoyance. I start looking on line for any other complaints about it and found multiple complaints. I just want the problem be fixed. The value of my car will be decreased and not many options I can see so far.

Vehicle recently purchased, and noticed an awful vibration while stopped with the vehicle is in gear. So much that it can be felt throughout the vehicle. Bags shaking and keys rattling. Can't focus while driving, to much shaking. Pretty annoyed at this vehicle and dealer for not disclosing this issue.. this vibration would have definitely been a game changer for me when purchasing this vehicle.

I've noticed that when my cars engine is warm it will vibrate like crazy! When I'm at a stop light it vibrates, nothing too major, just very annoying. Also we got the car in April 2015 by November 2015 the battery completely died while I was at work. Not sure how, but whatever the dealer got it fixed. All of the hard plastic used on the inside and outside of the car is very cheap, and easy to break/damage. This car does have a strong engine, it is a reliable car. just annoying as crap sometimes.

CR-V EX 2.4L

I purchased my 2015 Honda CRV in December 2014 and noticed a vibration when stopped and in gear. It only happens after the engine is warm and in gear, and also vibrates when accelerating when the rpm's are under 2000. I have had a "fix" done but made no difference.I now have 15000 miles on my CRV and it has continued to get worse. I have checked often about a fix and they say there is nothing new. Last time I went to the dealership and asked them about a fix the person that I talked to wanted to check the problem,he said he didn't feel anything except a slight vibration with is normal for a 4 cyl engine.I have owned over 30 cars (some with 4 cyl engines) never noticed anything like this. My first car was a used 1956 oldsmobile and it ran better than my CRV I'm very disappointed with the response from Honda and will warn anyone considering buying a Honda.I would feel guilty trying to resell this car to someone.

CR-V EX 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,100 miles

Unusual vibration when car is stopped in Drive with foot on the brake. I noticed it happening slightly a few months after purchase but it continued to get worse until the whole headrest shook. It is so disturbing that I bought a brand new car and I did not feel comfortable in the driving seat - or any other seat that was being used. This was a known problem when I purchased the car and I was never told by the dealer selling me the CRV of this problem! I drove the shaking car feeling stuck with a LEMON until after 2 1/2 years I finally searched on Google and found the known problem and called the dealer. Thankfully I discovered this before the end of the warranty because they were not going to "fix" it for free if out of warranty. And they still are not even notifying owners to let them know of the known problem that has a "fix". They want the owners to wait until their warranty is up so they do not have to fix it for free! Disgusting!

I had the "Bandaid" of a fix done to my car (more heavy duty transmission bolts, much heavier head rests, and software update) and you can still feel the steering wheel shake. What is the value of this car now compared to a car the same year that did not come of the factory with problem. I want to dump this car but now I'm worried that with the known problem, no one will want the car at a reasonable price! So the value of this car is affected by the shaking problem. Very frustrating.

CR-V 4 cyl

This is already well known among Honda CR-V owners. The Honda manufacturer know/knew about the problem and have not given any viable fix for the problem. When I purchased the vehicle used in May of 2017, I feel as though the dealership knew about the problem. When I took the vehicle to the dealership the first time for the problem they claimed "it just needed a computer update". Not a single person mentioned they knew about the problem until the vehicle was taken back the second time the other day. The mechanic said the factory knew about the problem but had not come up with a fix. The mechanic also said to return in a couple of months to see if the factory has come up with a fix.

CR-V EX-L With Navigation

I bought the vehicle in October of 2015. I noticed the vibration when I was at a light or stop sign and the vehicle was in gear. I took the vehicle back for an oil change and advised the service writer that the vehicle vibrated and he advised that it was normal because of the small engine. Two years later, I was speaking to a friend about this issue and he googled it and located TSB 15-046. I took my vehicle into the Honda Dealership and they repaired the TSB according to Mode #1. The problem was fixed at first, but the vibration is back.

2015 Honda CRV, with vibration issues. Had it to dealer 2 times. First time they did nothing, second time adjustments made according to some code. Vibration is better at lower speed, but still annoying over 40 mph and always when slowing down.

I'm recovering from a broken back and am reluctant to travel in this car. I only do quick errands.

This is a leased vehicle,SALESMAN AWARE of issue, got suckered into this deal I certainly won't want to purchase it as planned

What will Honda do when I turn it in, what will I get for this car. Will not do business with Hyannis Honda again
