This is my 3rd CRV (2007, 2012 and 2015). I used to like my car until CVT software upgrade was performed
by the dealer during regular maintenance. Since update my mileage dropped by 4-6 MPG. The car was checked at the dealership, but nothing abnormal was found, however, they (1)advised me not to use economy mode. (2) They aware of the problem, but can't fixed it.
My impression that I am driving the car in lower gear (in comparison to a regular transmission) applying more torque and much longer than necessary due to wrong positioning of the CVT belt.
