CR-V EX-L 14755

Could not put my car in Park when I got home last night. Could not push the button all the way in for that, but I could get it into neutral, reverse and drive. After a few minutes of trying to figure it out, the button on the gear shift came out, along with a spring. What the he**? I have less thank 22k miles on this car, and it's not yet 36 months old. There shouldn't be any issues with some thing like this.

I ended up calling a friend who Googled it, and not only found a LOT of other people had to deal with the same issue, but what I needed to do to be able to park and turn my car off. The next time I turn it on/off will be when I leave and arrive at the dealer for them to fix this ridiculous defect.

Update from May 14, 2020: Took this into the dealer today. Called first, and when I told them what broke, they asked me if it was a CR-V. The dealer was helpful, and told me they've had some of them, and it's a recall. Once I brought it in, they replaced it quickly, with no problems whatsoever. Weird, though, that it's a recall whose notifications haven't been sent out to owners yet.
