While sitting in a school parking lot with the brake hold button pressed the car suddenly accelerated and hit the car in front of it and shoved the next two cars together. The Honda dealer and Honda refused to acknowledge that there was a problem, or even look into the problem. The radar was damaged in the collision and that was all that the dealer would say was wrong with the car. So how does a system that is designed to prevent crashes actually cause one? The brakes should have stopped the car before it hit the car in front of it, and why did it accelerate in the first place. There are skid marks in the parking lot where the rear brakes had held and slid the tires across the pavement and you can see where the front tires started spinning when the event started. This all occured from a dead stop, and damaged four cars, including mine. Luckily no when was hurt, and no child was between any of the cars.
