sunroof exploded

Called Honda, they told us to bring the CR-V in and they would check it. Once I brought it in they said the glass needed to be repaired before they could do anything. I asked what if the sunroof doesn't work after the glass repair? The tech said he was sure the sunroof would still be working. I asked him to test it now. The sunroof did not work and he told me that we had probably mistakenly tripped the fuse. REALLY?

I had the glass repaired and the sunrooof is working, but I feel this should have been handled better AND covered by he warranty.
