problem #1

Civic DX 1.5L Sohc

  • Manual transmission
  • 203,939 miles

When I bought this Honda the speedometer worked just fine and the girl I bought it from did not say anything about it typical for a used car that was $1000 though. And it still passed inspection even though it did not work I bet the people did not look that close. I have gotten used to judging my speed so I really do not need it, its just that it is still pretty anoying because my odometer does not count total miles when it does not work. I flushed the transmission 2 times and it has made the transmission shift smooth and better overall. but still has not fixed the problem, has made work better though for longer. but around 2nd and 3rd gear it seems like it will go back to 0 when you are really going about 40-70. I would mainly just like to keep my miles accurate but that wont happen with a bad speedometer. I still think Honda builds a quality car that lasts forever, and is fuel efficient, and all out qaulity. I just wish it could have been something besides the speedometer.
