alright my Honda civic has alot of miles.... anyway it was a hot day and it was cloudy and it was supposed to rain

so the window was down and there was drizzles so i started putting up the windows (now this was 7 months after it was purchased) '

Anyway i tried to put it up(with the auto. button auto windows) and it wouldn't go up I hit rain pouring rain

thunder lightning etc.

of course i freaked out

i was soaked i pulled over and had to pull it up with my hand

with no help it seriously took bout 20min.

and the inside was soaked and so was I

i drove in wet

when i got to town

i went to my dealer

and they supposedly fixed it well it was fine

until probably 2 weeks it wouldn't go up

but i was in the garage and it was a sunny day thanx goodness

and i bought it back and they fixed it

well it was fine till bout 2 years latter it completely stuck

the motor ended up burning up

they fixed it replaced everything

and 2 weeks later it has been going slow and when it is wet outside it will get stuck

then bout 1 year all of the windows got stuck

and now I can only roll it half way down

it sucks

i have bout 98000 miles and hope to run it another year

and then i am going to purchase a Honda CRV

i like the civic but the windows never go up i have talked to people who have/had one and they had th4e same prob

i love the car

but it is a pain in the ass

soooo if yah wanna buy one go ahead, but keep it in mind

thanks

This is the 4th time that this has happened. When you roll the windows all the way down they will not roll back up, windows come off the tracks. You will have to take the car to an auto body shop to have this fixed. The solution is to have the windows put back on the track then you will only be able to roll the windows down half way after this happens. The body shop tells me that the track is too flimsy. It cost $40-60 dollars to have this fixed.
