problem #1

Civic EX 1.7L

  • Automatic transmission

I had to replace the compressor, drier, expansion valve, condenser and all the o-rings. In order to get to the expansion valve you have to take the dash board out. I also had to have a mechanic recharge it for me and not to mention flush the system. Unfortunately this car is only a 2004 and she bought it brand new. Obviously Honda has issues with their A/C Systems and failed to let their consumer's know. I work in this line of business and there are more Honda's with this type of problem on the road than any other car. But when I back up and look at the entire situation, it could be worse she could be driving a Prius with no brakes.
