I am very disappointed in my Honda. It didn't perform to my expectations. Hondas are known for their dependability. With only 57,428 miles on my Honda, I should not have had to replace an engine.

My engine must have had a small defect in the head casting resulting in a very thin spot which became a small hole, allowing coolant to spray into the intake port #4. The hole, about the size of a match head, could not be welded due to the thin metal, so it was filled with machinable epoxy. The car now has 122000 and the repair is doing fine, no problems. But it cost $1500 plus $500 for a rental car while it was in the shop.

valve/piston smashed through head , honda saying it was due to over revving ,even though no suggestion/information from ECU reading . doing 20mph at the time when suddenly lost all power, when we bought car it came with " HONDA HAPPINESS " ex warranty ,it as taken honda 4 weeks to come up with this excuse even though they have no physical evidence, the " HONDA HAPPINESS " warranty says, " honda approved used car guarantee is designed to protect you from unforseen repairs and breakdowns leaving you free to concentrate on better things in life ". we are now faced with an £8000 bill. I cant concentrate and at the moment I can't think of anything that's " BETTER IN LIFE " and as for "HONDA HAPPINESS " I have never felt so " MISERABLE " in my life !!! so if anyone from HONDA UK CUSTOMER RELATIONS DEPARTMENT ,470 LONDON ROAD, SLOUGH, BERKS, SL3 8QY, ever reads this thanks for making my life far happier and better .

Ok, I purchased this car a few years ago.. brand new,, kept up with all service and everything.. and one day the engine starts knocking and smoke everywhere.. when going nearly 70mph down the garden state parkway i loose control and nearly hit a exit sign. Now at this point i could not steer because the engine had already shut off and steering this thing, going this fast was quite hard! Now Honda would not replace the engine, the warranty is still intact, but they said it was my fault, they cannot do anything about it. I never wanted to buy this car in the first place because is wasn't a sporty looking car and had no power, yet i bought it and now it blew. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER BUY A HONDA VEHICLE!!! THERE CARS ARE NOTHING BUT SH*T AND THEY DON'T EVEN BACK UP THERE GODDAMN WARRANTY'S! I thought i could use the lemon law, I CAN'T EVEN SUE THEM! because it's a few months older then the law requires!.. BULL SH*T!! HONDA SUCKS CIVICS SUCK. ALREADY TOLD ALL MY FRIENDS AND I'M SURE HONDA LOST ABOUT 7 OR 8 SALES BECAUSE OF ME!!! GOOD!!! BECAUSE I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF F'N BUSINESS.. DAMN SH*T. TOTAL COST OF REPAIRS:

Honda claimed the engine had a malfunction or massive sludge build up causing the engine to burn up. CHECK UR CIVICS PEOPLE!!!!!

Bought this vehicle used. Had it 18 months and 3 of 4 cylinders damaged. VTECH solenoid sensor supposedly contributed to problem. Car had one previous owner. Bought from dealership. Should have known. Clean VIN. Have heard AFTER I bought car that VTECH solenoid is a problem with the year model. Anyone else hear of this? After replacing with used/rebuilt engine 3 months ago, VTECH solenoid has caused ANOTHER SEVERE OIL LEAK. Car Is in shop again for this. Still owe on car or I would have torched it! (just kidding)
