The dealer says that a permanent open circuit existed and the only way to resolve it, the driver front air bag needs to be replaced. All that time driving with this non operative, faulty air bag that could have resulted in a severe injury if I was involve in an accident. How good is the Honda's safety system??

I was driving in the car and mu airbags deployed for no reason. I didn't hit a bump or anything. It almost caused me to wreck into another car and almost hit a person. My young twins were in the vehicle and all this dust or something flew out when they went off and went into mine and my children's eyes. My children will not get into my car now because they are scared to do so. This is a huge problem for me I have to torture them to get them in the car because they have such fear. My seat was completely destroyed by the airbag in the seat which I dont think would be normal. It ruined my car seat covers also. This is a huge deal to me and being a single mother and working and going to school full time I don't have extra cash around to get it fixed so now I am left with a pretty extensive amount of my car that I once loved. I never received a recall on my car and I look at all the recalls and my car has quite a few of them. I just want someone to be responsible for the damage to my car. I take very good care of my vehicle and just want to cry when I see all the damage this has done. Something also flew out of the airbags and my the portable DVD players I had mounted on the back seats no longer work either so that is yet another thing I cannot afford to replace.

wheres the safety at in that. we may of been only going 25 to 30 not very fast but obviously fast enough for the air bags to come out and fast enough to do enough damage to consider my car a total loss. i dunno what action to take to talk to the people at honda about my safety and concern after this accident
