Civic DX In-Line 4-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 86,543 miles

I accidentally ran into a curb with the front driver side tire, and the seat airbag and the side curtain airbag deployed, even though there was no damage to the vehicle.

Also, both seatbelts locked up and could not be reused since the airbags deployed unnecessarily. The seatbelts also are in line with the airbags.

I had to replace both airbags and repair both seatbelts so that they would retract again because the seatbelts lock up once you get into an accident but I was never in an accident. I just hit a curb at about 20 miles an hour. The airbag system is extremely sensitive and goes off, unnecessarily on minor incidences.
