I never received any notice from the Honda dealers regarding a paint recall campaign #14-034. My car is paint with Atomic Blue Metallic. It is one of TEN MOST UNWANTED ON RECALL LIST:

B-92P – Nighthawk Black Pearl B-529P – Fiji Blue Pearl B-536P – Royal Blue Pearl B-537M – Atomic Blue Metallic B-561P – Dyno Blue Pearl NH-701M – Galaxy Gray Metallic NH-731P – Crystal Black Pearl NH-737M – Polished Metal Metallic YR-578M – Urban Titanium Metallic B-586P – Dyno Blue Pearl II (2012 indication only) This circular will end on 9-30-14 for 2006-2008 vehicles.

My paint so far is not cracking, YET. I called Honda recall customer service and the young lady ask for VIN # and says that my car is not on the recall list. Now I am not a nimrod to think that Honda wants to minimize cost so they give the excuse "Your Vin# is not on the recall list". But my paint is on a 2009 Honda Civic, they are having recalls on the paint/clear coat not on Vin#, "sorry, thank you for calling Honda".

I asked her if she could mail me specifics on the requirements for a recall, "sorry, no recall on VIN#".

Where can I go to get a check up to see if paint is compromised, I know nothing about cars let alone paint, and I do not know exactly my recourse is to get acknowledgement / and documented / warranty applied that my paint is indeed on recall and may get snowy.

Thank you
