Civic SI 2.4L

  • Manual transmission
  • 75,000 miles

Car shifter linkages broke. Seems to be made cheaply. Lots of plastic. Left me stranded. Had to have car towed to mechanic.

Civic

  • Automatic transmission
  • 120,000 miles

car just stalls when put into gear

2002 Honda Civic with only 120,000 miles. Transmission went. Car starts but when put into gear it stalls. Mechanic says it needs new transmission to the tune of about $3,000 +.... Not worth fixing.
