The issue occurs during the starting of the CoVID pandemic (just as the 7-yr warranty about to expire), but we did not know that and CoVID is more of the concern so we did not bring the car to the dealership immediately. Later when we bring the car to dealership, dealer suggest to us to contact American Honda for warranty service. We filed the claim with out-of-pocket inspection fee at a Honda certified shop with instruction by the dealership. After several month of review, Honda denied the case citing it is outside of warranty period and refuse to pay a single penny.

I live in New York State. I am a 70 year old woman. I felt that my 2000 Saturn maybe was time for a trade in - most likely this car I own now will be my last. Sad but true. I went to CARBON HONDA OF YORKVILLE NEW YORK back in Maybe April of 2019. They had a 2013 Honda Civic there on sight. I looked all over and took for a ride and tried it all out. Even though the mileage was a little high I thought for as much as I drive now that would make a great car. MY daughter also had a Honda Civic also purchased from them. She had not one issue with that car only for the recalls. Then of course it went back to be fixed.

Well, I was excited to see that I was going to have one too. Well, weeks went by and months went by and when I called and called they could not find a title for that car. Hey, it's not my fault. Kept saying ohh we will get we will. My ass, they did not. just a bunch of s*heads running around. So then I called one day low and behold holy s*, hey they have in their possession a 2013 Honda Civic. Oh Matt Henzel said ohh just like the other maybe less miles. They could get this one ready to go for me.

Now I had gone up there sight unseen to buy this car - ohh great car we will give you a deal and have it ready for you - OHH that's right more money. I went up with my friend and took for a right damn thing never gone over I must have had stupid written on my forehead. My friend noticed the white spots on the trunk of the car and we asked what they were OHH not a problem they can be buffed out. Okay, being a woman took a man at his word, a huge mistake. I should have never done this or bought this car.

This is most annoying since it is not something that can just be patched. The whole car would need to be repainted to match since it would be the roof and the trunk. I have always maintained the car with regular washings and bi-annual wax jobs only to still have the clear coat haze. I will definitely rethink buying a color car from Honda again.
