Civic 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

This is my first Honda and I love the fuel efficiency but there are some real concerns. I'm not swearing off Honda all together, but I'm very concerned that I'm not getting the quality that I paid for.

Civic LX

  • Automatic transmission
  • 58,000 miles

2013 honda civic lx, we have two of them. both of them very slowly spin the engine to start it most of the time. one of them has had dead batteries for well over a year intermittently. yesterday it received two jumps in the cold and today three jumps in the cold. i did not expect any problems in these young hondas. very disappointing. back to nissan for me.

Civic

  • Automatic transmission
  • 17,500 miles

This is the second Honda where the battery died with low mileage and at 2 years. First was a 2010 Insight, this time 2013 civic. Both times replaced under warranty. However am VERY concerned about the quality of future Hondas, if this is the norm, am switching to another car company. Honda is no longer the quality car it once was....have they taken any steps to correct this problem?

I am a long time Honda owner and this seems to be a problem with new cars (2010 +). I doubt my next new car will be a Honda.
