Civic Hatchback >X 1.5t

  • CVT transmission
  • 12,000 miles

At the end of summer 2021, my car started having issues firing up. Trying to start up the car, the engine would crank over very roughly and then die out. I'd leave it for a while and then a few hrs later it would turn on. I needed to get towed multiple times before finally having it towed to the dealership to get fixed. The low pressure fuel pump was replaced under warranty and as part of a recall associated with my model. The bigger pain was when it happened again 1 year later to the new pump! Will fill out a separate complaint for that... It was a major pain in the *. I had to get towed out of a cemetery once because of this issue! Never thought I would get headaches like this from a Honda.
